## Method 1: Installing Telegram from the App Store

**Locate the App Store Icon**\
Find the [**App Store**](https://www.apple.com/app-store/) icon on your iPhone’s home screen and tap it. This is where you’ll download the Telegram app.

**Verify Apple ID**\
Tap on the **profile icon** at the top right to ensure you're signed in with your Apple ID.\
If you’re not signed in, either sign in with your existing Apple ID or create a new one for free by following the on-screen prompts.

**Check Your Internet Connection**\
Make sure your device is connected to a strong Wi-Fi network or has a solid cellular data connection, as you’ll need internet access to download apps.

**Access the Search Tab**\
Tap on the **Search** tab at the bottom right of the App Store.

**Type "Telegram"**\
In the search bar, type "Telegram" and press enter to search.

From the list of search results, look for the [**Telegram Messenger**](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/telegram-messenger/id686449807), identified by a white paper airplane icon.\
Tap on the **Get** or **cloud download button** next to it to start downloading.

If prompted, confirm the download by:

* Using Face ID or Touch ID\
  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the authentication process.

**Locate the App**\
After the installation is complete, the Telegram app will appear on your home screen. If you don’t see it right away, go to the **App Library** (accessible by swiping to the last page of your home screen) and look under **Recently Added**.

Tap the **Telegram** app icon (white paper airplane) to launch the app.

**Enter the Verification Code**\
Telegram will send a **six-digit code** to your phone via SMS.\
