Locate the App Store Icon
Find the icon on your iPhone’s home screen and tap it. This is where you’ll download the Telegram app.
Verify Apple ID
Tap on the profile icon at the top right to ensure you're signed in with your Apple ID.
If you’re not signed in, either sign in with your existing Apple ID or create a new one for free by following the on-screen prompts.
Check Your Internet Connection
Make sure your device is connected to a strong Wi-Fi network or has a solid cellular data connection, as you’ll need internet access to download apps.
Step 2: Search for Telegram
Access the Search Tab
Tap on the Search tab at the bottom right of the App Store.
Type "Telegram"
In the search bar, type "Telegram" and press enter to search.
Select Telegram Messenger
From the list of search results, look for the , identified by a white paper airplane icon.
Tap on the Get or cloud download button next to it to start downloading.
Step 3: Install Telegram
Authenticate the Download
If prompted, confirm the download by:
Entering your Apple ID password
Using Face ID or Touch ID
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the authentication process.
Download Progress
The app will begin downloading. You’ll see a progress circle on the app icon, indicating the download and installation status.
Step 4: Open Telegram
Locate the App
After the installation is complete, the Telegram app will appear on your home screen. If you don’t see it right away, go to the App Library (accessible by swiping to the last page of your home screen) and look under Recently Added.
Open Telegram
Tap the Telegram app icon (white paper airplane) to launch the app.
Step 5: Log In to Telegram
Start Messaging
On the welcome screen, tap the Start Messaging button to begin the setup process.
Select Your Country
Choose the country where your phone number is registered from the dropdown menu.
Enter Your Phone Number
Input your phone number into the appropriate field and tap Confirm.
Enter the Verification Code
Telegram will send a six-digit code to your phone via SMS.
Enter this code in the text field provided to complete the login process.
Step 6: Grant Permissions
Allow Access to Contacts
Telegram will prompt you to allow access to your contacts. If you want to sync your contacts with the app, tap Allow.
Enable Notifications
You’ll be asked if you want to allow Telegram to send you notifications. Tap Allow if you want to receive message notifications.
Method 2: Use Telegram Web on Mobile
Access Telegram Instantly Through Your Browser ⚡
Step 1: Open Your Browser
Launch Your Browser
Open your preferred web browser on your mobile device.
Search for Telegram Web
In the search bar, type Telegram Web and hit enter.
Step 2: Log in to Telegram Web
Select Your Country
Choose your country from the dropdown list.
Enter Your Phone Number
Input the phone number linked to your Telegram account and tap Next.
Step 3: Log in via QR Code (If Using Desktop)
Login by QR Code
If you're using Telegram Web on a desktop, you'll need to scan a QR code to log in. Tap on Login by QR Code to generate the code.
Open Telegram on Another Device
On a different device where your Telegram account is already active, open the Telegram app.
Go to Settings
In the Telegram app, tap on the Settings button at the bottom of the screen.
Link Desktop Device
Tap on Devices and then select Link Desktop Device.
Scan the QR Code
Use your device to scan the QR code displayed on the Telegram Web page.
Step 4: Success!
Once you've scanned the code, you’ll be logged into Telegram Web. The web version works similarly to the app, allowing you to chat and manage your messages seamlessly.
