Tether (USDT) is the most popular and widely used stablecoin in the cryptocurrency market. As of November 2024, Tether (USDT) operates natively on 15 different blockchains, including Ethereum, Tron, and others supported by Walletium.
USDT can also be deposited, transferred, and swapped on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC), where it is referred to as USDT BEP20. BEP20 is a token standard built upon Ethereum’s ERC20, offering greater flexibility for token creation and lower transaction costs thanks to reduced gas fees.
Open both your sending and receiving wallet applications ( Binance and Walletium ).
Ensure that you have an existing address on the corresponding blockchain for receiving assets in your Walletium, or create a new deposit address if needed.
The most important thing is to make sure both platforms support the same asset on the same network. This is especially crucial for USDT, since it operates on multiple blockchains.
Find the USDT address where you want to receive funds in the Walletium's address list, and copy it completely. Double-check to ensure it is copied correctly.
Open the Binance app and navigate to the Wallet (Step 1.) section to access your wallet overview.
Tap on Withdraw (Step 2.) to start the process of transferring USDT.
Select the Withdrawal Method (Step 3.)
Choose USDT (Step 4.)
Select Send via Crypto Network (Step 5.)
Paste the copied from Walletium USDT address into the Address field (Step 6.). Carefully double-check to ensure the address is accurate.
Select the appropriate network for the transfer (Step 7.). This step is critical, ensure the network matches the one supported by your Walletium (e.g., BEP20, ERC20, TRC20) (Step 8.).
Enter the amount of USDT (Step 9.) you wish to transfer and review the withdrawal details carefully before confirming. This includes the address, network selection, and transfer amount.
Hit the Withdraw (Step 10.)
Choosing an incompatible network can result in the loss of your funds, so verify this detail thoroughly before proceeding.
Complete the two-factor authentication (2FA) process using an authentication app or email verification.
You can track the transaction progress within the Binance app, which typically displays the status of your USDT transfer.
Once the transaction is complete, verify the USDT balance on your Walletium correspondent address. A notification for the incoming payment will be displayed in the Push History once the transfer is executed. Keep in mind that it may take some time for the transfer to reflect in Walletium, depending on the selected network.
