Option 1: Download Telegram from the App Store

One Click to Join the Conversation 💬

Step 1: Open the App Store

Locate and open the on your Mac.

You can find it in your Dock or in the Launchpad.

Step 2: Search for Telegram

In the search bar, type Telegram and hit enter.

Step 3: Download Telegram

The official Telegram app will appear at the top of the results. Since I already have it installed, I see the "Open" option, but if you don’t have it, you’ll see a Get or Download button.

The app is verified and provided by Telegram Messenger, so you know it's safe.

Step 4: Install the App

Click Get to download and install Telegram. Once installed, it will appear in your Applications folder or directly in your Dock.

Option 2: Download Telegram from the Official Website

Secure Your Connection in No Time 🔒

Step 1: Open a Web Browser

If you prefer not to use the App Store, open Safari, Google Chrome, or any other web browser.

Step 2: Search for Telegram for Mac
Step 3: Download the DMG File

Once on the website, click on the Get Telegram for macOS button to download the app as a DMG file.

Step 4: Install the App

After the download is complete, go to your Downloads folder, double-click the DMG file, and follow the on-screen instructions to install Telegram.

The app size is around 92 MB, similar to the App Store version.

Step 5: Complete Installation

Once the app is installed, it will show up in your Applications folder, and you can launch it from there.

Step 1: Open Telegram

After installing, open the Telegram app on your Mac.

Step 2: Scan the QR Code

A QR code will appear on the screen. To log in, open Telegram on your mobile device, go to Settings > Devices > Link Desktop Device, and scan the QR code displayed on your Mac.

Step 3: Access Your Chats

Once logged in, you'll see all your chats, contacts, and settings synced across both your phone and Mac. Telegram on Mac functions just like the mobile app, allowing you to chat, send files, and more.
